Healing, heritage and hospitality in the heart of Bristol
Healing: Our residential support service for vulnerable people is open to all in need, whatever their background or circumstance.
Heritage: The former Benedictine Priory of St James is the oldest building in Bristol! It has a fascinating story to tell and has witnessed almost a millennia of Bristol’s development.
Hospitality: Like our Benedictine predecessors we extend a warm welcome to all who visit.
Our refectory café serves delicious refreshments and our well-equipped meeting rooms and central locality make us an ideal venue for conferences and community group bookings.
St James is still a place of Christian (Roman Catholic) worship and devotion but is open to all people from any faith or none.
Our Core Values are:
The Priory is a Roman Catholic Church and is open between 10am and 5pm from Monday to Friday and on selected Saturdays during the year.
